Linear Guide for Use in Extreme Conditions
Bosch Rexroth is expanding its portfolio of linear guides with a solution designed for extreme operating conditions. The new NRTVG (NRII Temperature Vacuum Graded) for BSHP ball-rail guides in size 25 is made entirely of metal and is therefore suitable for motion applications in a vacuum as well as in harsh environments or at temperatures ranging from -30 to 200 °C (−22 to 392°F). The carriage, made of corrosion-resistant steel, is resistant to a wide range of aggressive media. Various wiper blades made of metal or durable plastics are available as optional attachments. Typical applications for the new NRTVG guide carriage include the semiconductor and electronics industries, such as in display manufacturing and other production processes under vacuum with pressures as low as 10⁻⁷ mbar.
