Virtual engineering and data-driven methods can make a decisive contribution here—especially when combined with systems engineering and engineering automation.Nevertheless, the degree of implementation varies considerably among companies. While some have already integrated virtual methods, only a few consistently use these results as a basis for functional validation, internal approval decisions, or even certifications. Others are still in the very early stages of the transition.
