Neura Robotics is expanding its Physical-AI ecosystem to include another important application area. Neura Mobile Robots GmbH is acquiring 100 percent of the shares in Adlatus Robotics GmbH from Ulm (Germany), an established provider of autonomous cleaning robotics. Following the recent addition of the Active Shuttle from Bosch Rexroth to its portfolio, this is another step in Neura's strategy to bring various robots and applications together on a unified Physical-AI infrastructure, turning intelligence from individual machines into a scalable platform.

Adlatus has been developing autonomous cleaning and sweeping robots for years, catering to industries such as logistics, healthcare, as well as commercial and public spaces. The company has hundreds of systems in the market, its own navigation software, and extensive expertise in real cleaning processes. Neura Robotics and Adlatus have been collaborating since September 2025 as part of a strategic partnership. Their first joint public appearance took place at the CMS in Berlin.

From Autonomous Cleaning Robot to Intelligent Physical AI System

With the acquisition, this foundation is intended to be further developed technologically. The goal is to equip Adlatus systems with additional sensor and AI capabilities and gradually integrate them into the Neuraverse.

This aims to enable a cleaning robot to not only follow a predefined route but increasingly understand its environment: recognize different surfaces and levels of dirt, interpret situations, select appropriate cleaning strategies, and learn from real-world operations. Through the Neuraverse, various AI models, sensor data, and capabilities can be integrated for this purpose. Step by step, a specialized autonomous device becomes an intelligent actor within a larger Physical-AI ecosystem.

David Reger, founder and CEO of Neura Robotics, says: "We're not acquiring Adlatus just to add another cleaning robot to our portfolio. We want to give machines like these a new brain. An Open Platform Instead of a Closed Ecosystem

The integration of Adlatus explicitly does not signify a departure from collaboration with other manufacturers. Neura aims to establish the Neuraverse as an open Physical-AI infrastructure for various robots, manufacturers, and form factors. In the future, manufacturers of cleaning robots, mobile robots, and other autonomous systems will also have the opportunity to connect their machines with technologies, AI models, and capabilities from the Neura ecosystem. Adlatus will thus serve both as a product platform and as a real application space for the further development of Physical AI. Reger: "Physical AI will only truly scale when it becomes an ecosystem."

Adlatus will benefit from the production expertise, international sales network, and technological platform of the Neura Group. At the same time, the team brings deep industry knowledge, established customer relationships, and years of experience from real-world cleaning operations. This connection is crucial for Physical AI, as unlike traditional generative AI, Physical AI requires data and experience from the real world. Machines need to learn how physical tasks are actually performed. The installed base of Adlatus provides a valuable foundation to develop, validate, and subsequently make new capabilities scalable under real-world conditions.

Andreas Lindemann, Managing Director of Neura Mobile Robots GmbH, adds: "Our goal is to rethink mobile robotics beyond traditional material transport in the future. Autonomous cleaning is a logical next step for this. Looking ahead, we also want to integrate the solutions into our Fleet Manager, enabling additional applications for existing and new customers.
