Hofele Is Equipped for the Future with Trumpf Lasers

This sentiment is shared by his son Chris Hofele, who has been working in the family business for six years. As an industrial master craftsman and trained construction mechanic, he is deeply involved in current developments in sheet metal production and played a decisive role in the latest investments. In 2024, the company replaced its last energy-intensive CO2 laser cutting machine with the 24-kilowatt laser cutting machine Trulaser 5040 fiber, which requires significantly less energy for sheet metal processing despite its high performance. Chris Hofele explains: "We are receiving more and more inquiries for processing fine contours in 30, or even 40-millimeter-thick (approx. 1.57-inch)  structural steel sheets." Orders for components made of stainless steel and other high-quality materials are also increasing, according to Hofele. But thanks to Trumpf lasers, the company is already well-equipped for everything that lies ahead.
