Trumpf Lasers Prove to be True Time Savers

The young managing director is not only impressed by the performance of the Trulaser 5040 fiber. He also appreciates the system's thoroughly clear and simple operation, as the user interface features a touch function. This allows him to complete operating tasks incredibly quickly and intuitively. Additionally, he finds the Trulaser fiber easy to set up. To illustrate, he mentions the nozzle changer of the cutting head, which can be removed and set up from the machine during main operation time. As for the part or cutting quality of these laser cutting machines, the Hofeles have no concerns at all. Their comment: "We've been using Trumpf machines for over 30 years. So we can evaluate the quality of the machines just as well as the processed sheets." There's simply nothing to complain about. Even though Hofele, as a Swabian, likes to be thrifty and Trumpf is certainly not a low-cost provider, he always feels well taken care of by the company due to its honest and competent advice.

Support Slat Cleaners are Worth it from the Start

The quality and cleanliness of the cut components are not solely attributable to the technology of the Trulaser fiber. Equally important are seemingly mundane factors! Consider the unavoidable slag on the pallets. If the crust becomes too thick, issues can arise due to an uneven support surface for the sheet metal blanks being cut. It is also possible for slag to splatter onto the sheet during processing, which the Donzdorf team would never accept. This is why they have been using Trumpf support slat cleaners since their market introduction around 20 years ago. "At the time, a Trumpf employee calculated for me how much I could save by using this special tool. It was already convincing back then," the company director recalls. Today, Hofele is already using the second generation of these systems (Trutool TSC 100). Since May, the third-generation Trutool TSC 200, which keeps the powerful Trulaser 5040 fiber in top condition, has been in use in Donzdorf.
