Hoffmann Group in Hall 3, Booth D80

At AMB 2024, the Hoffmann Group showcases how to "manufacture with ease and relaxation." This demonstration includes new high-performance tools for machining and solutions for the digitalization and automation of manufacturing processes—tailored even for small and medium-sized enterprises. Additionally, the Hoffmann Group is celebrating the world premiere of its first Garant machining tool made from recycled carbide substrate at AMB. This innovation brings an added layer of sustainability to the machining industry.

The carbide rod of the new Garant Green Plus solid carbide end mill consists of 99 percent secondary materials and is produced using electricity exclusively from renewable sources. Therefore, the cutter has a smaller ecological footprint while maintaining consistently high performance. This performance is achieved through modern geometry and a state-of-the-art TiAIN coating. The high-quality tool is versatile, can be reused multiple times, and is reconditionable. The extended product lifecycle represents an additional advance in sustainability.

For easy and relaxed manufacturing, the Hoffmann Group also presents its automated loading systems. Newly featured is the Garant Automation Loading System Turntable. It is designed for handling clamping devices on CNC milling machines and machining centers and can be connected to the machine with or without an automation interface. Thanks to its start-stop pin mechanism, it is easy to operate; with less than 2.5 square meters of floor space, it fits in the smallest areas. For companies that want to use their automated loading system on lathes as well, additional information on the proven Garant Automation Loading System Basic Plus is available at the fair. For automated secondary and final processing of small and medium batch sizes, the new Garant Tumbler GMT2 is introduced.

Moreover, increased efficiency can be achieved with the digital solutions from the Hoffmann Group. The new "Tool Assembler" functionality allows users to configure complete tools in the digital manufacturing solution Connected Manufacturing and make them available through the central tool database. Simple components can thus be produced on 3-axis machines even without a CAM system, and the necessary complete tools can be digitally managed. This enables manufacturing businesses to efficiently deploy all employees who have programming skills. The digital manufacturing solution Connected Manufacturing provides a real-time overview of all tools. For intelligent measuring equipment management, the Hoffmann Group is additionally introducing the solution Connected Metrology for the first time.

New Garant and Garant Master tools, as well as new variants of the Garant Xtric and Xpent clamps and a label-free Garant GreenPlus granite plate cleaner, round off the exhibition. As in previous years, there will again be an opportunity to experience live demonstrations up close at the Hoffmann Group's booth. So, there is much to look forward to.
