Commercial Vehicles Daimler Truck at the IAA Transportation
Daimler Truck is unveiling electric and hydrogen trucks at the IAA Transportation trade show—and announcing the first customer for the production-ready GenH2. Electric truck driver Tobias Wagner is setting off on a round-the-world trip from the trade show.
Mercedes-Benz Trucks is the market leader in Europe in the first half of 2026, with a market share of approximately 38 percent for heavy- and medium-duty locally CO2-free trucks. Since its market launch in late 2024, customers have driven more than 160 million kilometers (99.4 million miles) in the battery-electric E-Actros 600. This is shown by analyses from the telematics service “TruckLive.” According to the data, half of the daily mileage exceeds 400 kilometers (249 miles), and about 20 percent exceeds 600 kilometers (373 miles).
