Another award goes to the electrically insulated screwdrivers "Proturn" by Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH (originals on the left). The counterfeits by the Chinese manufacturer Dongguan Yile Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd. lack, among other things, the VDE registration in accordance with DIN EN IEC 60900. The typical Wiha shape and color combination of the handles have been copied exactly, which could lead to confusion about the origin. Aktion Plagiarius: "Wiha regularly has cheap counterfeits removed from eCommerce platforms. The operators of a Chinese online platform have responded to Plagiarius's letter: they would immediately delete counterfeiting offers upon notification and have also installed systems for the proactive detection of infringing products – and they have provided us with a personal contact.
