The declared aim of Bosch Business Innovations is to systematically build up start-ups, bring them to market maturity and develop new business models for them. In line with the Bosch strategy, the subsidiary has defined business areas in which investments are to be prioritized. Initially, these are software-controlled manufacturing, remote medical monitoring and the capture, use and storage of greenhouse gases. Further business areas will be on the agenda in the coming years. The plan is to lead no fewer than 20 start-ups to success by 2030. And Bosch can currently make good use of new business ideas, as the Group had recently fallen short of its own expectations and was in the red in 2025 for the first time since the global financial crisis in 2009.
