Fewer trial runs, fewer forming stations, better material utilization—that’s what Stampack promises with the latest version of its simulation software, Stampack Xpress 2026.1. As in previous versions, version 2026.1 includes extensive improvements to the calculation module and the user interface. A total of 51 new features and improvements have already been implemented in 2026. The company is placing a particular emphasis on the analysis and presentation of simulation results. The new Report Manager automatically exports results to PowerPoint presentations, while the View Manager simplifies the creation, management, and reuse of various result views. For symmetrical parts, Stampack Xpress can now display the entire component during postprocessing. Stampack enables the simulation of forming operations using both the shell solver and, more accurately, its own volume solver. In version 2026.1, the solid forming processes in the volumetric solver were optimized and further developed. This makes it possible to simulate embossing down to 10 percent of the initial sheet thickness. This broad range of applications is reflected in the customer base: It includes suppliers of tools for large automotive body parts as well as leading toolmakers specializing in high-speed presses for the connector industry.
