Operated by a single operator, the Alphashot XL G2 MDC from Orbitvu can capture all product data in a single pass. To do this, a laser measurement system physically measures the product, while the integrated digital scale records the product weight. An AI-powered Optical Character Recognition (OCR) function reads barcodes, labels, and compliance data directly from the product or its packaging. The results are then structured as metadata—ready for import into ERP, PIM, or marketplace systems. Photos, dimensions, and weight leave the station together as a complete product data set, without the need for manual data entry.

The Alphashot XL G2 MDC completes full product digitization in just a few minutes, with a single operator, in a single pass. No data is generated; nothing is approximated.

The system is designed for shoes, consumer electronics, tools, cosmetics, automotive parts, and other products with dimensions up to 24 × 16 × 28 inches (W × D × H) and weighing up to 55 lb. According to Orbitvu, the average processing time per product is just a few minutes, with a throughput of up to 250 products per day.

Uncompromising image quality is delivered by intelligent 360-degree lighting using over 170 individually controllable LED panels. The AI Photo Assistant recognizes the product type and automatically configures the lighting settings, eliminating the need for manual adjustments between products. Each product is photographed under reproducible, calibrated conditions, enabling consistent studio-quality results in batch production, as reported by Orbitvu.

Two independent lasers measure the product's length, width, and height while the camera is taking pictures. The motorized 30 inches turntable also functions as a scale and enables automatic product positioning.
