Free movement and positioning along the assembly line

Linear technology for motion and positioning tasks is the focus of RK Rose+Krieger's presence at automatica. On stand A6.315, the company will be showcasing components and system solutions from its portfolio, which includes linear units, electric cylinders, lifting columns and control technology. RK Rose+Krieger uses this range of components to develop designs for simple adjustment tasks through to complex multi-axis systems with high precision and dynamics.

The RK Easy Cuve is a mobile cobot trolley that can move freely between workstations on an assembly line and position itself independently at its destination with an accuracy of 0.01 millimetres. This is made possible by the SensorBoard, which is built into the trolley's frame and controls a sensor counterpart. In contrast to positioning using sensor and camera technology, this happens regardless of unfavorable lighting conditions, dirt or dust. The mobile cobot trolley can therefore be used in different scenarios without having to be reprogrammed each time.

RK Rose+Krieger uses the Multilift electric lifting column from its linear technology range to ensure that assembly work can continue seamlessly at the target workstation thanks to the cobot. This allows RK Easy Cuve to continuously adjust the height of the cobot with a stroke of up to 500 millimetres (approx. 20 inches) and fully automatically compensate for height differences between workstations.

RK Rose+Krieger installs cobots from Mitsubishi and an electric drive system from Blickle in the RK Easy Cuve. Customers receive it as a fully programmed system adapted to their needs and therefore ready for immediate use, all from a single source.

Vogel Communications Group uses this feature for the purposes of re-targeting (up-selling, cross-selling, and customer loyalty), generating so-called look-alike audiences for acquisition of new customers, and as basis for exclusion for on-going advertising campaigns.
