The global engineering community Element14 is offering members the opportunity to evaluate Arduino's new single-board computer. In March, Arduino and Qualcomm unveiled the Arduino Ventuno Q, a new class of single-board computers featuring top-tier performance and functionality. The Ventuno Q is a new open-source, Physical AI-capable dual-brain platform featuring Qualcomm’s Dragonwing IQ-8 processor and a challenge to Raspberry Pi. Element14's RoadTest Program

The Ventuno Q builds on Arduino’s growing portfolio of development platforms and combines a Qualcomm Dragonwing SoC from the IP8 series—capable of running Debian or Ubuntu Linux—with an ARM Cortex-based STM32H5F5 microcontroller for real-time control. With this dual-processor architecture, developers can explore a wide range of embedded, AI, robotics, and edge computing applications.

The developers selected by Element14 for the RoadTest will receive a Ventuno Q and other accessories free of charge. Participants are asked to design and document a project or evaluation plan, test the board’s features, and publish a detailed review on the element14 Community. Upon completion of the review, participants may keep the hardware.

The RoadTest program is designed to give developers hands-on access to new technologies while helping the broader community gain practical insights from real-world testing. Potential project areas include autonomous robotics, machine vision, industrial automation, traffic monitoring, and AI-powered offline applications.

In their applications, participants should describe their technical background, the proposed project or test plan, and the specific aspects of the Ventuno Q they wish to test, such as performance, energy efficiency, network functions, software integration, or expandability.
