The production rhythm will be adjusted in some plants in Europe through temporary closures, Stellantis announced following media reports on production interruptions in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Poland. The automobile manufacturer aims to align the production pace with the challenging market in Europe while simultaneously reducing inventories.

According to an Opel spokesperson, the plant in Eisenach will close for two days. The two working days will be compensated through the employees' working time account.
