At the 13th Schaeffler Automotive Symposium, the supplier presented its product innovations and technological developments over three days. More than 300 customers gathered for the first time under the motto "Beyond Driving. Innovation made by Schaeffler." at the new Project and Technology Center at the Bühl location.

In the passenger car segment, the largest customer area, the four technology clusters "Vehicle Control," "Chassis & Body," "Powertrain," and "Energy Management" feature products for connected, software-driven, and electrified mobility.

For commercial vehicles, the company showcased zero-emission concepts aimed at higher efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, such as for battery- or fuel-cell-electric vehicles, as well as hydrogen-powered combustion engines. To accelerate the market readiness of low-emission technologies, flexible development approaches were presented. In the so-called 2-wheeler segment, the company offers bearings, motor control, automatic transmissions, and connectivity products, which are intended to enable smart platforms, among other things.

The Schaeffler Symposium Worldwide

Schaeffler hosts its symposium worldwide every four years. Following the opening in Bühl for the European region, additional events will take place in 2026, starting on September 17 in Detroit (USA), followed by Suzhou (China) from November 4 to 6, and Tokyo (Japan) on December 2 and 3.
