For the most commonly used use cases of remote access, monitoring, and connectivity, Bosch Rexroth has packaged application solutions. For remote access, the solutions enable seamless monitoring, control, and troubleshooting of devices and networks based on ctrlX OS, regardless of location. Customers can choose between various options from ctrlX World partners such as the VPN client from Ixon and the solution from MB connect line, and supplement these with an additional firewall app if necessary.

The package for monitoring provides real-time and non-real-time transparency of device data to detect errors early, optimize performance, and reduce downtime. To achieve this, apps such as the IoT Dashboard, InfluxDB, and Node-RED can be utilized, which enable comprehensive insights into system states. For connectivity, robust and cyber-resilient options are available that ensure reliable integration into corporate networks and AI applications. Suitable apps for this purpose include OPC UA Server/Client, the MQTT broker Eclipse Mosquitto, Modbus TCP, and the Bosch DeviceBridge App.

Henning Foerste, Senior Sales Engineer at Elmo, presented the latest products from the drive technology manufacturer, which was acquired by Bosch Rexroth in 2022. The company manufactures drives that offer top performance in the low voltage range. The new devices from the Titanium and Platinum series will be presented at the SPS fair. Both product lines offer complete functional safety options and enable higher motion accuracy, performance, and robustness for nearly any machine.
