With the Spectra Rack 3000 R7, Spectra is expanding its portfolio of industrial 19" rack PCs to include a high-performance platform for demanding automation, edge computing, and AI applications. The 3U system combines the latest AMD Ryzen processors with high expandability, real-time capabilities, and an architecture designed for continuous industrial use.

At the heart of the system is an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 7745 processor with eight cores and a high clock speed. For particularly computationally intensive applications, a variant with an AMD Ryzen 9 Pro and twelve cores is available as an option. Up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory and fast NVMe SSDs deliver the performance required for data-intensive applications such as image processing, AI inference, data acquisition, or edge analytics.

The rack system offers extensive expansion options to meet individual requirements. Three PCIe slots, two M.2 interfaces, and multiple drive bays allow for the integration of additional network, communication, or graphics cards. The chassis can be customized for applications with increased cooling requirements or GPU support. The modular design also facilitates the scaling of storage and expansion components. Features include two 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, numerous USB ports, serial interfaces, as well as HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-D graphics outputs. The system is designed for 24/7 continuous operation and operates within a temperature range of 32 °F to 140 °F. For use in industrial control environments, the Spectra Rack 3000 R7 is optionally available with a real-time-optimized BIOS. This reduces jitter and supports deterministic processes in real-time applications. Furthermore, the platform is prepared for use with automation environments such as Codesys and Beckhoff Twincat.
