The live demonstrations with the Universal Big 70 will take place at the Halter stand. More specifically, the robot will be loading and unloading heavy workpieces from and onto pallets. There will also be demonstrations of how the pallets can be positioned next to the robot system and the CNC machines. It will also be shown how various workpieces can be set up relatively easily using the Halter Smartcontrol tool and how they can then be machined. Halter also wants to show how easily the systems can be integrated into existing production processes.

The Turnstacker Premium 35 will also be on show at AMB. It is a robot-supported loading unit with a stacking system that is specially designed for lathes. This model has a very high capacity for loading flat components, such as flanges and gears with a diameter of up to 230 millimetres.

The Universal Premium 35 will also be presented. It is an all-rounder when it comes to a robot-supported loading system for turning and milling, which covers the entire range of workpieces up to 270 millimetres. An option is available for shafts up to a length of 450 millimeters. At the AMB, Halter will also be demonstrating the automated measurement of milled workpieces with a Mitutoyo Mistar 555 CMM. It is even possible to automate several machines with a single Halter cell. Halter also develops and supplies customized solutions for workpieces with different shapes or larger quantities. The exhibitor will be showcasing this at AMB:

  • Multi-layer grid plates for flanges and plates;

  • Systems for handling long shafts;

  • Vice automation with Lang-Technik Macro-Grip;
