Compact design, more power, more productivity and efficiency: With these specifications, Boschert is expanding its portfolio of press brakes to include a force range of up to 88 short tons. To achieve this, Bosch Rexorth developed a compact hybrid press brake drive that ensures dynamics and energy efficiency.
If you want to open up a new market segment as a press manufacturer, you have to impress in many respects. The requirements range from the most compact and ergonomic design possible, to high performance and energy efficiency, to competitive prices and overall costs. The long-established machine manufacturer Boschert had all of these aspects in mind when it decided to expand its portfolio of press brakes to cover the force range up to 88 short tons. A key selling point for the new hybrid press brakes: an innovative speed-controlled dual drive from Bosch Rexroth.
