On Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m., we’ll find out what many observers no longer thought possible: The 20 members of the supervisory board of Volkswagen, after weeks of wrangling, approve a comprehensive plan for the future of the company. One of the winners this evening is certainly Oliver Blume. The CEO now has the mandate for the “most strategically far-reaching transformation program” in VW’s history.
