4. Process thick metal plates reliably

Number four is designed for dished end and flanging machines—and due to the process—also for heavy-duty products. The presented product package consisted of an HDO series bevel helical gearbox, ensuring high torque, robustness, reliability, and long service life. It is complemented by a 3-phase IE3 asynchronous motor from the BX series. This combination then drives the axis of the machine for processing metal plates with substantial thickness.

5. Quiet hours for storage and intralogistics

The intralogistics and storage systems sector was pleased with a helical parallel shaft gear motor of the F series with a BX motor and the closed-loop frequency inverter ACU (Active Cube), which operates efficiently, reliably, and quietly, as described by the EuroBLECH exhibitor.

6. Drive technology for laser cutting

The last purely mechatronic system is a precision planetary gearbox from the MP series. It is combined with a brushless BMD servomotor and the new premium Axiavert frequency inverter. The whole system is modular in design and offers a wide range of torques and dimensions. It also features high dynamics and safety functions. Thus, potential unsafe situations can be detected without requiring additional sensors or wiring. The version presented at the trade fair is ideally suited for laser cutting systems—for both metal tubes and sheet metal plates.
