The EINSTAR Rockit scanner enhances scanning efficiency by providing professional capabilities in a compact, portable format. Its truly wireless design and built-in wireless module eliminate the need for cables or additional equipment, enabling users to start work effortlessly without lengthy setup or teardown. By allowing users to bring the scanner to the object rather than vice versa, the Rockit optimizes entire workflows, enabling professionals to capture reality with maximum speed and convenience. This innovation significantly reduces scanning time, making large-scale projects more manageable than ever. As a result, users can scan without limitations—whether it involves a full vehicle or an outdoor sculpture located far from any power source.

The Rockit balances performance, data quality, and ultimate portability through five core advantages:

  • True Wireless Design: The Rockit features a built-in Wi-Fi module that allows for direct connectivity to a PC without the need for hubs or adapters, ensuring stable and real-time data transfer.
  • Marker-Free Scanning: Capture feature-rich objects instantly without extra preparation, saving setup time and lowering the learning curve for beginners. For example, a detailed engine bay can be digitized in minutes, without the complex and time-consuming step of applying tracking markers
  • Hybrid Dual Light Source: A combination of blue laser and infrared VCSEL technology handles a wide range of surfaces, while an optimized algorithm improves scanning performance on objects with deep holes. Shining 3D's crossed Lines technology accelerates data acquisition by projecting an expansive grid of blue laser lines. This enables the rapid scanning of large surfaces without sacrificing detail, ensuring superior edge definition and capturing features with exceptional clarity. The output is a clean, high-fidelity 3D model directly from the scanner, making it the ideal solution for high-efficiency reverse engineering.
  • Rocket Speed: Achieve smooth tracking and capture speeds of up to 90 fps (with marker alignment), consistently producing high-quality point clouds for both small parts and larger objects.
  • Built-in 5MP Color Camera: Capture vivid, realistic textures that bring 3D models to life, adding a new level of realism to applications in digital art, customization, and AR/VR. For projects like classic car restoration or creating digital archives, authentic color is just as critical as geometry.

EINSTAR 2: Enhanced Performance with Laser HD Features

Three years after the original EINSTAR set the standard for accessible 3D scanning, Shining 3D introduces a successor that overcomes previous limitations and redefines freedom. EINSTAR 2 introduces the new Laser HD feature, engineered for true wireless freedom and studio-quality 3D data without tangled cables, prep sprays, or clunky setups. At just 420g, EINSTAR 2 is smarter, lighter, and finer. Its swappable built-in battery provides up to 3 hours of continuous scanning, allowing creators to move seamlessly in workshops, art studios, or out in the field. Its power lies in a cutting-edge dual light source that handles any task with ease:

  • 17 Parallel Blue Laser Lines: The ultimate combination of speed and detail. Featuring 17 blue laser lines—more than double the standard 7-line configuration—this technology allows for the capture of larger surfaces with significantly greater speed. At the same time, this laser technology represents a substantial advancement in detail compared to infrared scanning, accurately capturing sharp edges and fine textures. This results in faster scanning and improved data quality simultaneously.
  • Infrared (IR) VCSEL Technology: This technology delivers cleaner point clouds and boasts strong performance even in harsh sunlight. Black objects can be scanned directly, saving time and simplifying your workflow. The tracking capability of EINSTAR 2 has seen a significant upgrade, enabling it to seamlessly scan objects like forearms without any additional assistance.

These new scanners are enhancing the EINSTAR family, offering a broader array of options: The EINSTAR Rockit and EINSTAR 2 are introduced as two separate models that share a common mission. Together, they represent a significant milestone in SHINING 3D's commitment to making 3D technology more accessible.
