HL Klemove wants to develop scalable, production-ready ADAS systems for highway and parking assistance applications. According to the supplier, it opted for Apex.AI due to its production-ready middleware and focus on safety-certified software.

"The platform fits well with our next-generation ADAS architecture and our goals for scalable deployment in future vehicle programs," explains Kim DooKyum, Director of the Platform R&D Center at HL Klemove.

About HL Klemove

HL Klemove is the result of the merger of two companies: the ADAS business unit of HL Mando and Mando-Hella Electronics. The company name is a combination of "HL" from "High Life", the mission statement of the parent company Halla, and "Klemove", an artificial word made up of "Clever" and "Move".

The company offers products for assisted and autonomous driving at levels L2+ and L3, including sensors, high-performance computers, software and electronic chassis control units. According to HL Klemove, it serves over 50 customers worldwide, including major OEMs and start-ups. The company currently operates four production facilities in Songdo (Korea), Suzhou (China), Chennai (India) and Saltillo (Mexico).
