In developing its new connection component, Rosenberger focused primarily on minimizing system complexity while guaranteeing high performance. The reduced number of individual components simplifies assembly and integration, while the design is specifically tailored to automated manufacturing processes. This reduces assembly times and increases process reliability—a crucial factor for OEMs and cable assemblers.

Secure Connection Guaranteed

The assembly-optimized design supports cable cross-sections of 35 mm², 50 mm², and 70 mm² for copper and aluminum conductors. Straight and angled cable connectors can be combined with the same header, enabling flexible integration while reducing installation space, weight, and material usage. At the same time, the design for automated cable harness production facilitates integration into existing production lines.

A locking mechanism with a lever and CPA ensures a secure connection. High Voltage Interlock is optionally available. The connector is RoHS-compliant and manufactured according to the "local-for-local" principle.

Designed for High Power Demands

With an operating voltage of up to 1,200 V DC and a current-carrying capacity of 310 A at 85 °C, the HVR 280 is designed for current and future vehicle models. Additionally, the system enables a short-term current-carrying capacity of up to 653 A for 100 seconds.

The series meets the vibration class V2 according to DIN/TS 70214:2025-11 PG 17 as well as the temperature profile according to DIN EN IEC 60068-2-14 (VDE 0468-2-14), making it qualified for demanding environmental conditions.
