The circle closes. In 2010, Ford sold Volvo Cars to Geely. Sixteen years later, Ford agreed with the Chinese group to establish a joint venture in Valencia, Spain. Starting in 2028, vehicles from both brands will be produced there, including a crossover model designed by Ford and jointly developed with Geely.
