HP: Material PA 12 S for the Jet Fusion series

Together with Arkema, HP developed the material PA 12 S, which is set to establish new standards for surface aesthetics. According to the manufacturer, it also reduces costs for customers using the HP Jet Fusion 5200 series 3D printing solutions. The reach of the material will expand further as it will also be available for the Jet Fusion 5600 series. This makes it usable across the entire range of HP's polymer 3D printing solutions.

The material optimizes the production process in conjunction with HP's Multi-Jet Fusion technology and streamlines the post-processing steps. This saves time and costs, making it possible to produce parts more efficiently. At the same time, high quality and sustainability standards are maintained, according to HP.

Recyclable materials

HP's materials can be recycled. According to the manufacturer, the new PA 12 S has the highest reusability rate compared to other PA-12 materials on the market. The reusability of PA 12 S is up to 85 percent.

The new material PA 12 S is already being used by customers such as Accel Digital Solutions, Decathlon, Erpro Group, and Materialise for aesthetic parts with improved surface quality and lower production costs.
