The first signs of economic recovery are shimmering on the horizon, despite challenging economic prospects. Thanks to global demand and innovative technologies. This is reported by the industry association VdW. It is said that the foreign business is picking up despite moderate domestic demand. However, a stable recovery is not expected by Dr. Markus Heering, Managing Director of VdW, until 2026. The current uncertainty caused by trade conflicts is still dampening investment enthusiasm. Nevertheless, decisive impulses and innovations at EMO 2025 will strengthen the competitiveness of companies, Heering is certain.
