This Gives NASA Hope for a New Starliner Mission

As was announced in conjunction with the relative success of the Starship flight, NASA plans to use the once-troubled Starliner spacecraft to transport astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) again in 2028. Before that, an uncrewed test mission using the spacecraft developed and built by the U.S. company Boeing is planned for later this year (or early 2027), as Isaacman announced at a press conference.

Isaacman: “We’ve been working closely with Boeing to resolve the issues identified on previous Starliner flights!” We’ve learned that parts of the spacecraft are being redesigned for this purpose. And NASA is determined to fly the Starliner back to the International Space Station and to future commercial destinations.
