The first Milence charging park in France is located in the logistics district of the Seine-Eure metropolitan area. The route is used by many freight forwarders and heavy-duty vehicles traveling between Paris and other logistics centers in Normandy such as the largest container port in France, Le Havre, but also Caen, Dieppe, and Rouen. The charging park is located about four minutes from the A13 and supports key logistics routes. The location is easily accessible for trucks and a safe stopping point without having to deviate from the normal route.

Development Phase 1 completed

The charging park is being developed in two different phases. The first phase has been completed with the opening of the hub. The new charging park has four CCS chargers at four charging bays. The Milence arches mark the location of the site, making it easily recognisable for truck drivers. Nearby are several third-party facilities, including sanitary facilities and a restaurant. The joint venture plans a rapid transition to MCS technology (Megawatt Charging System) – as soon as it is available.

Phase 2: Tailored to the needs of drivers

The second phase is to be completed by the end of the year. This includes additional charging slots with MCS technology. In addition, Milence will operate sanitary facilities such as toilets and showers, tailored to the needs of truck drivers.

The new hub in the Seine-Eure urban area and all other Milence charging parks are open to all trucks. To ensure accessibility, the company has concluded contracts with various e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSPs) in Europe. Users can pay with the cards of these providers - more cooperation is planned.

Find a charging station easily using the app

To ensure a seamless and reliable charging process, Milence has developed a user-friendly app. With this, users can easily find the nearest charging station and pay across locations.

The standard charging rate of Milence is 0.399 Euros per kWh excluding VAT and transaction costs. This charging rate applies to all Milence hubs in all countries. The applicable rate can be found in the app and is displayed at the charging station. All changes to the rates will be communicated via the official Milence channels.
