Hermle in Hall 12, Booth C 30

With three fully automated systems and a machining center in mill-turn configuration, Hermle relies on proven tradition combined with the latest innovation. All models are showcased in the GEN2 version, each featuring interesting machining examples. At the special "Technology Development" booth, hardware and software components, digitalization projects, milling/machining cycles, as well as components from their training expertise, are presented in an illustrative manner.

The Exhibits at a Glance

The 5-axis machining center C 12 GEN2 from the High-Performance series with the RS 05-2 robotic system. The RS 05-2 robotic system handles workpieces up to 10 kilograms while offering high and customized parts storage in various storage modules. An aluminum medal, which also serves as a PIN magnet, is being machined.

The 5-axis machining center C 32 GEN2 from the High-Performance series with the RS 2 GEN2 robotic system. Hermle AG is now taking automation to a new level with the RS 2 robotic system in the GEN2 version. The previous RS 2 system has been improved in almost all components and optimally adapted to customer requirements.

The 5-axis machining center C 400 GEN2 from the Performance series with the HS flex hybrid handling system. With the HS flex hybrid, Hermle has elevated the previous HS flex handling system to the next performance level for the economical production of components weighing up to 450 kilograms. The system transports both pallets and vices from the setup station to the storage modules or the workspace. The following components have been specially configured for the HS flex hybrid: the storage modules, the setup station, the gripper, and the adapter pallet. The HS flex hybrid can be adapted to six different machine models and configured with one or two storage modules.

The 5-axis machining center C 42 MT GEN2 from the High-Performance series in the mill-turn version. Equipped for the first time with the Siemens Sinumerik ONE control system, a technological component integrating various turning technologies is being machined on the C 42 MT.

These "turning cycles" in detail: mirror turning, eccentric turning, taper turning, non-circular turning of a polygon contour, contour broaching of any 2D contour, simultaneous turning of the inner contour, thread turning, grooving, power skiving, QR code drilling.
