Heller in Hall 12, Booth C 70

Two state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centers—a HF 3500 and an F 5000—can be experienced in continuous operation. Heller also demonstrates on these machines how operators are digitally supported throughout the entire process chain. During setup by the "Setup-Assist," during production by the "Production-Assist," and for ensuring component accuracy by the newly developed "Quality-Assist." But that's not all. For example, even the smallest elongation can be calculated and compensated by measuring temperature increases in the spindle. This ensures that the machine remains maximally accurate without any operator intervention and can work continuously productively.

Simultaneous 5-Axis Machining with Different Configurations

In addition to the digital highlights, Heller is showcasing its comprehensive mechanical engineering expertise at EMO 2025 with two 5-axis machining centers. The HF 3500 stands out with its table kinematics featuring standard counter supports, as well as high dynamics and short idle times. The machine displayed at the trade fair in the PRO configuration also features a dual-driven Z-axis and is equipped with all the features necessary for perfect simultaneous machining. The high acceleration rates of 10 meters (approx. 33 ft) per square second, axis speeds of 90 m/min (approx. 300 ft/min), and extremely short chip-to-chip time are also advantageous. Maximum productivity is further ensured by Heller's in-house developed, high-performance spindle with the proven zero-spindle system. Thanks to the combination of high torque and high speed, it is ideally suited for universal applications.

For machining heavier components, the F 5000 with head kinematics is used. It stands out with numerous features and key components, such as a motor spindle with an HSK-A-63 interface. Thanks to its modular design, the F 5000 can be optimally configured for a wide range of applications, while consistently delivering the highest precision and performance in the production of small to medium batch sizes. Equipped with a fork head variant, this machine is particularly versatile and excellently suited for undercuts and re-entrant angles. These are needed, among other things, for the production of integral components in the aerospace industry.
