In the Chinese commercial vehicle market, hybrid technology is considered an essential building block for decarbonizing the transport sector. With its experience in developing hybrid technologies for passenger cars, the supplier believes it is in a position to develop a viable, efficient hybrid technology for commercial vehicles. Thanks to the highly integrated design of TraXon 2 and the hybrid module, which provides high power and torque, vehicle manufacturers can incorporate hybrid technologies into their existing platforms with less integration effort and complexity.

TraXon 2 Hybrid has been developed to improve overall efficiency and significantly reduce CO₂ emissions while maintaining the range and infrastructure of the combustion engine. TraXon 2 Hybrid is suitable for both full hybrid and plug-in hybrid heavy-duty commercial vehicles. The system is expected to be available on the Chinese market in 2026.
