With the new EX30 Cross Country, Volvo has now officially presented the robust adventure version of its all-electric entry-level SUV. The top-equipped all-wheel-drive vehicle, with which the Swedish manufacturer continues its long-standing cross-country tradition, delivers 315 kW/428 hp, has a 69 kWh battery, and is now available for order at 57,290 euros (60.125,86 USD). Volvo optionally offers a package with accessories and equipment for excursions in nature for the EX30 Cross Country. Deliveries of the all-wheel-drive SUV are to start later in the spring.

With a single battery charge, the all-electric EX30 CC can then cover up to 427 kilometers (approx. 265 miles). Charging from 10 to 80 percent takes just 26 minutes at fast-charging stations, thanks to up to 153 kW charging power.

Compared to the standard Volvo EX30, which has been on the market since 2024, the CC version features some additional details and functions: These include the suspension with an increased ground clearance of 190 millimeters and wheels in a five-spoke Cross Country design. Special 18-inch off-road tires are also available as accessories.

Design features include matte gray front and rear bumpers. These are joined by underride protection at the front and rear, as well as widened wheel arches. The front also features the topography of the Kebnekaise mountain range in Arctic Sweden. The color palette includes four exterior paint finishes, each standard with a black contrasting roof.

Same interior

In the simple interior, the two model variants do not differ: for example, the soundbar on the dashboard is also found in the Cross Country variant. It makes speakers in the doors unnecessary. The interior designers have placed great emphasis on ample storage space: in addition to large door compartments, the upper part of the center console can also be pulled out and used as a cup holder. There is also a large storage compartment on the floor between the driver and front passenger. For rear passengers, there is a storage compartment that can be pulled out from under the center tunnel.

The Volvo EX30 Cross Country features the latest generation Android Automotive infotainment system with integrated Google services. Standard equipment includes, among other things, front seat heating and a heated steering wheel.
