Machine and plant concepts are changing—and the MGB2 Modular grows with them. The fully modular safety door system flexibly adapts to changing requirements. Seamless integration into Profinet, EtherCAT(P), EtherNet/IP allows the system to be configured for all common control architectures without additional gateway effort. An integrated Ethernet switch reduces wiring effort and simplifies network topology. MGB2 Modular offers access control, operation, and signaling in one device, is extremely robust (up to -22°F, IP65), and meets the highest safety levels (PL e / SIL3). This makes it ideal for modular production lines, line modifications, or retrofit projects.

Digital Access Control for Smart Factories

Users who do not actively control access to machines risk misuse, downtime, or security gaps. The new Electronic-Key-System EKS2 offers a central, tamper-proof access management for networked production environments with variable roles and shift models. In combination with the new Electronic-Key-Manager EKM2 and the integrated database, the keys can be managed flexibly on the PC. Predefined templates, data encryption, hygienic IP69 design, and direct PROFINET connection make the integration of the electronic key system into existing automation solutions particularly efficient.

Manufacturers and operators of machines are required to comply with European directives as well as national and international standards.
