We present five new products for the office and home office that are designed to make life easier for designers and ensure more ergonomics at work.

Ergonomic office chair adapts to the user

With the establishment of hybrid work models, the demand for permanently assigned desk workstations in the office is declining. Areas are being rethought and so is the traditional workplace. Desk sharing is one way to effectively use available spaces. However, the ergonomic requirements must not be neglected in this model.

Outstanding Ergonomics

With the new Dauphin Indeed automatic, the backrest counter pressure adjusts automatically to the respective weight of different users. Switching from the home office to the office as well as to several "owners" is easy to implement. The intelligent Motionflex automatic mechanism produces the counter force from the material itself, and two spring elements ensure additional fine tuning. Thanks to its numerous adjustment options, Indeed automatic is very ergonomic and has been awarded the "Tested & recommended" seal of approval from the Healthy Back Campaign (AGR).

For easy handling of the chair and resource-saving production, the office chair impresses with a further reduction in material use. This reduces the Indeed automatic's weight by another 10 percent compared to the classic Indeed model. The elegant office swivel chair convinces with the maximum avoidance of CO₂ emissions in the areas of design, material use, production, and logistics, and every detail is designed with sustainability and environmentally conscious production. The use of recycled materials reduces emissions. Over 90 percent of the materials used are recyclable. To emphasize its significance for environmental protection, the Indeed automatic carries both the Blue Angel and the Level3 certificate based on the FEMB sustainability standard.

Less plastic in the oceans through Seaqual Yarn

The fabric cover of the Dauphin Indeed automatic is made of "Sealife", a versatile, attractively structured fabric in solid and melange colors made of 100 percent Sequal Yarn. The special feature is that the recycled polyester consists of at least ten percent recycled ocean plastic. Due to its positive environmental balance, "Sealife" is certified with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. Dauphin has joined the "Seaqual Initiative" and thus contributes to the cleaning of the oceans.

Nearsourcing - proximity matters

More than 80 percent of the materials for the swivel chair produced in Germany, from the art to the foam to the upholstery, come from the vicinity of the Dauphin factory in Offenhausen, central Franconia. Indeed can be easily dismantled and assembled, and thanks to the film packaging, it is transported in a space-saving manner with the Dauphin's own fleet. The elimination of bulky boxes means more space and loading capacity in the truck, and therefore less CO₂ emissions.

All measures taken serve to avoid CO₂ emissions. The emissions that are still produced by the manufacturing process are compensated together with the organization natureOffice. The comprehensive climate protection project in Togo, which has been selected for this purpose, contributes to calling the Indeed automatic comprehensively climate-friendly.

Monitor lamp provides optimal lighting conditions for eye-friendly work

Ben Q is expanding its Screen-Bar series with the Screen-Bar Pro model. The 50 cm wide lamp casts light on the desk with a central illuminance of more than 1,000 lx. The Screen-Bar Pro is automatically switched on and off by a motion sensor, which covers an area of about 60 +/-10 cm in front of the screen at an installation height of 50 cm. The lamp turns on immediately, and turns off after five minutes of inactivity and leaving the workplace, saving valuable energy. The Screen-Bar Pro is now available in black and soon in silver for a suggested retail price of 139 euros incl. VAT.

• The lamp is equipped with a full-spectrum LED chip whose light reproduces all colors correctly and with great luminosity. In the color rendering index of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, the monitor lamp achieves a color fidelity of Rf>96 and a color saturation Rg close to 100.

• Beyond the area of greatest brightness, the Screen-Bar Pro creates a wider beam of light than LED desk lamps, offering a more comfortable brightness distribution and is excellent for the use of ultra-wide monitors or even multi-monitor setups. If needed, it can be dimmed to 500 lx with just one click: This working light intensity is recommended by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for continuous work.

• The Screen-Bar Pro can be adjusted on its housing in 16 brightness levels and 8 color temperatures between 2,700 and 6,500 Kelvin. This creates lighting moods that promote focused work and relaxation while reading.

• The Screen-Bar Pro, equipped with a flicker-free driver chip according to the specifications of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), is certified by the EU for the safety of Blue Light.

• The monitor lamp can be installed on all monitors that have a frame depth of 0.43 to 6.5 cm and a curvature of 1000-1800R. In addition, the holder of the Screen-Bar Pro is webcam-compatible. The lower edge is kept so flat that it does not cover cameras integrated into the monitor frame. For external on-top cameras, there is a magnetic holder attachment available as an accessory.

Smart products for noise-free solutions in the office

Noise damping plays as important a role in the office as proper lighting or ergonomically designed workplaces. Because noise and unrest are disturbances that result in measurable decreases in concentration and performance. Modern workplaces are therefore only perfectly designed and aesthetically pleasing when the room acoustics are right in addition to the visual aspect. Display specialist AOC presents the 68.6 cm (27") AOC Q27B3CF2, a new slim QHD model (2560 x 1440) from its B3 series. Thanks to powerful features such as a 100 Hz refresh rate, USB-C connectivity (including 65 W power delivery) and Adaptive-Sync, the monitor is designed to enable productive and comfortable work, making it suitable for both home use and business applications.

Diverse Connection Options

Thanks to the USB-C 3.2 Gen 1x1 port with DisplayPort Alt Mode support, it's easy to connect the Q27B3CF2 to a mobile or desktop PC. This way, image signals can be transmitted and the laptop, for example, can be charged (65W USB Power Delivery) simultaneously via a single cable. An HDMI 2.0 input also allows connection with various other sources. Two additional USB-A 3.2 Gen 1x1 and a USB uplink port also allow direct connection of peripheral devices, ensuring more versatility and less cable clutter on the desk.

The user's physical well-being was also considered: Low-Blue mode and Flicker-Free technology, for example, protect the eyes during long sessions in front of the screen. Moreover, the monitor offers various ergonomic adjustment options. For an optimal posture in front of the display, it can be adjusted in height by 110 mm, among other things. Additional flexibility is also provided by the VESA mount (100 x 100 mm) for external table or wall brackets.
