Automatica 2025 in Munich ends with a record: Around 47,500 trade visitors from more than 90 countries were informed about the latest trends in automation from July 24 to 27, according to a statement. Automatica 2023 had about 40,000 visitors. Particularly in demand were practical AI solutions, automation for SMEs, healthtech applications, mobile robotics, and connected production. A total of 1,120 robots were also present on-site.

"Automatica is once again an impetus for the entire industry. Despite economic headwinds, the trade fair has grown significantly in terms of visitors and exhibitors. This shows that it is the must-attend event for the industry," says Reinhard Pfeiffer, Co-CEO Messe München. According to the organizer, exhibitors praised the high level of trade visitors and the strong rate of new customers. Industry giants like Fanuc, Kuka, and Neura Robotics also expressed their enthusiasm, it continues.

Overall, 35 percent of the visitors came from abroad, primarily from Austria, Italy, Switzerland, South Korea, and the USA. Satisfaction was at a record high for both exhibitors (94 percent) and visitors (99 percent).

The next Automatica will take place from June 22 to 25, 2027, again in parallel with the Laser World of Photonics and the World of Quantum in Munich.
