With 1,500 exhibitors from 60 countries on 67,400 square meters, Messe Düsseldorf hosted the largest Wire in its almost 40-year history last week. "This year, our new developments met with an extremely positive response, which was also reflected in the high visitor numbers at our trade fair stand. In addition to new machine concepts, such as the transfer bending machine BQ10, the topic of "assisted machines" was particularly popular in the context of the shortage of skilled workers. They mainly support new employees in the setup process and independently take over individual process steps. With four levels, Wafios has created the foundation to classify machines with their supportive functions in the long term," Weigmann adds.

That the pipe industry is not only capable of large-scale operations, but also has convincing, sustainable concepts for the use of renewable energy and for reducing carbon dioxide, was clearly evident at the exhibition stands in exhibition halls 1 to 7.1.
