Which of your current robot solutions use AI, and what added value does this bring?

From autonomous navigation and pick & place to quality assurance - our AI-supported robotics solutions are already being used in a variety of applications and industries. Thanks to Visual SLAM technology, our autonomous mobile robots (AMR) are able to make intelligent decisions based on their environment and act even more autonomously. This navigation technology combines AI and 3D image processing with cameras. Machine vision and AI can also be found in the Robotic Item Picker: equipped with a robot, vacuum grippers and special image processing software, the solution can pick and sort different objects fully automatically. Our AI-supported solutions also make full use of their advantages in automotive manufacturing: Our complete Ultrasonic Spot Welding Quality Inspection package can detect microscopic defects when welding cars and check spot welds 20 times faster than a human.
