For Chuan Lih Fa Machinery (CLF), the K 2025 could become a small early birthday gift. Founded in 1966, the company has evolved from a local manufacturer to a globally recognized brand manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines. In Düsseldorf (Hall 12, Stand C01-15), the company aims to demonstrate that its technology is also appealing to European plastic processors. In an interview, Marketing Director Jenny Lin provides insights into the company's trade fair appearance and future prospects.
Jenny Lin: "We have built a good reputation in demanding industries such as automotive components, electronic parts, logistics products, and packaging applications."

Chuan Lih Fa Machinery at K 2025
What is the main reason for your participation in K 2025 and what strategic goals are you pursuing with your presence at the trade fair?
Jenny Lin: K 2025 is the world's most important platform for the plastics and rubber industry, and our participation reflects our commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation. For us, this is not only an opportunity to showcase our latest injection molding technologies but also a chance to strengthen relationships with our global partners and customers.
Our strategic goals include expanding our presence in Europe, showcasing our sustainability-oriented solutions, and highlighting our ability to offer flexible, high-performance machines for industries such as automotive, packaging, and household products. We also want to use the trade fair as a platform for live demonstrations, where visitors can "see everything at a glance" and witness the precision, stability, and efficiency of our systems for themselves.
What is the significance of the European market for Chuan Lih Fa Machinery and what opportunities do you see there for your company?
Lin: Europe is a highly developed market with a strong focus on sustainability, automation, and energy efficiency. For CLF, it represents both a benchmark and an opportunity. We see a growing demand for machines that support circular economy goals, process recycled materials, and integrate into intelligent production systems.
Which machines, projects, or systems will you present at K 2025, and which innovations are the focus?
Lin: At K 2025, we are presenting, among other things, our 250TWII injection molding machine, which is specifically configured for thin-wall applications. In live demonstrations, we will showcase the production of yogurt cups made from PET material—a solution that combines speed, precision, and energy efficiency. PET is not only recyclable but also ideally suited for food applications. Our technology enables excellent transparency and surface quality in thin-walled containers.
How do your exhibited technologies help address current challenges in the plastics industry – such as efficiency improvements, quality optimization, or sustainability?
Lin: Our showcased solutions are designed to directly address the key challenges of the industry. The 250TWII machine for PET yogurt cups demonstrates how thin-walled packaging can be produced with shorter cycle times and reduced material consumption, leading to significant efficiency gains. At the same time, the recyclability of PET supports circular economy initiatives, while the excellent transparency achieved with our technology enhances product value and consumer appeal.
CLF is known for injection molding machines. What sets your products apart from competing products, and what specific advantages do they offer to users?
Lin: We are distinguished by our expertise in large-scale and high-precision injection molding machines. We have built a strong reputation in demanding industries such as automotive components, electronic parts, logistics products, and packaging applications. Our machines combine robust clamping force with precise injection control, enabling users to produce large or complex parts with consistent quality and efficiency.
Another key strength is flexibility. Our machine designs enable a high degree of customization, allowing each solution to be tailored to the specific production requirements of the customer. Whether it involves unique mold dimensions, material processing requirements, or the integration of automation, we provide the adaptability manufacturers need to optimize their operations.
This combination of size, precision, and customization offers clear advantages in terms of productivity, cost efficiency, and long-term competitiveness.
Which trends in plastics processing do you consider particularly relevant for the coming years, and do you plan to respond to them?
Lin: We see several key trends shaping the future of plastic processing. First, product design is becoming increasingly diverse, with growing demand for small series and production with multiple variants. This requires machines that can flexibly accommodate multiple molds and applications. At the same time, manufacturers are increasingly seeking customized equipment that maximizes production efficiency while meeting highly specific requirements.
Sustainability is another important factor. The industry is moving towards a circular economy—with increasing demand for machines that process recycled materials and enable significant energy savings. At the same time, digitalization and AI are playing an increasingly important role. They enable smarter monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven process optimization.
At CLF, we are actively developing solutions in all these areas: from flexible machines with high tonnage and extensive customization options to energy-efficient designs and intelligent control systems. Our goal is to provide our customers with reliable, future-ready technologies that enable them to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
What message would you like to convey to the visitors of K 2025 – regarding your technology, your corporate strategy, or your vision for the future?
Lin: At K 2025, CLF aims to demonstrate that we are more than just a machine supplier—we are a partner for growth. With nearly 60 years of experience, we deliver large-scale and high-precision solutions that combine flexibility, innovation, and sustainability. From energy savings to AI-driven intelligent manufacturing, our vision is to support customers in staying competitive in a changing world.
