The companies TX One Networks and Bosch Rexroth are working together to strengthen automation security. The collaboration focuses on a robust solution for networked devices in the industrial sector.

The companies announced TX One's participation in the Ctrl-X World partner network at SPS 2024. The combination of the two companies' solution portfolios helps to improve safety solutions in the automation industry. The partners appeared together again at Hannover Messe 2025. According to both companies, the focus of the partnership is on developing a network solution that effectively protects networked devices running the Ctrl-X OS operating system. "I see the provision of TX One's security features for Bosch Rexroth's ecosystem around Ctrl-X OS as critical. This partnership allows us to increase safety in machines without requiring our customers to have in-depth safety knowledge. I am convinced that this integration will bring significant benefits to the industry by making it easier for companies to access advanced safety solutions," comments Dr. Terence Liu, CEO of TX One.

This collaboration is particularly relevant in the context of the new EU regulations, especially the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, which require companies to raise their security standards. The partnership will therefore also focus on the markets in continental Europe, with Germany and Italy at the forefront. In addition, a connection to Rexroth representatives in the USA will also be established to ensure global support. With regard to the CRA in particular, Bosch Rexroth is confident that it can provide customers with a solution that meets all the requirements of the directive.

Both companies are planning an extensive collaboration within the framework of Ctrl-X World, which will also consider the integration of further TX One product families. "We are aiming for a long-term partnership with Bosch Rexroth based on common goals. We also plan to further integrate our product families into the Bosch Rexroth portfolio. Sharing best practices and resources will be very important in this regard," says Liu.

Expansion of the ecosystem

Through the partnership, TX One will play a central role in Bosch Rexroth's Ctrl-X World partner network by integrating its cybersecurity solutions into the Ctrl-X OS ecosystem. This integration is intended to raise security standards in the industrial environment and prevent threats while strengthening system resilience. TX One offers a range of network-based and endpoint-based protection solutions that are tailored to the specific requirements of the Ctrl-X OS ecosystem.

An additional focus of the cooperation is the further promotion of IT-OT convergence. Bosch Rexroth is pursuing the vision of linking industrial automation with advanced IT systems to create integrated, secure and flexible production units. Both companies believe that this multilateral partnership will simplify the interaction between IT and OT and help to improve the security architecture in industrial environments - especially when companies want to focus on their core competencies, which usually lie beyond IT or OT security.
