Taitra is once again present as an exhibitor at K 2025 in Düsseldorf this year. The organization, together with numerous manufacturers, showcases the entire value chain. From the fields of extrusion and recycling, YE I Machinery (Hall 12, Stand C02-16), among others, demonstrates why Taiwanese exhibitors do not have to hide behind European competitors. In an interview, Sales Manager David Huang explains what he expects from the trade fair, which topics are on the company's agenda this year, and what visitors can look forward to at the booth.

Why is the K 2025 such a central trade fair appearance for YE I Machinery and what significance does the European market hold in this context?

David Huang: K 2025 is not just a major trade fair for us but also a strategic hub. On the one hand, we are increasing visibility in our most important market: Europe. Here, we meet our buyers, users, and suppliers. At the same time, K provides us the opportunity to establish new partnerships, for example, in the areas of after-sales, service, spare parts, local representation, etc.

Europe tends to impose strict requirements on environmental standards, safety, efficiency, sustainability, and CE marking. For a machinery exporter, compliance with these regulations is essential. Presence in Düsseldorf contributes to credibility.

What do you expect from your participation?

Huang: Success in Europe brings prestige and shows that a company can meet the highest standards. This can help to open up other markets. Furthermore, European trade fairs are places where innovations are very consciously perceived. If YEI presents itself strongly there, it can influence the market's perception. This means that our participation combines the exploration of new markets, the deepening of partnerships, and the promotion of technologies.

Which machines or systems will you present in Düsseldorf and what specific benefits do they offer to European customers?

Huang: We will showcase our best-selling 3-in-1 machine for recycling plastic waste. It offers over 50% higher performance than conventional machines and reduces power consumption by 30 to 40%, contributing to energy savings and CO2 emissions reduction.

How do your current solutions address issues such as energy savings, recycling, and circular economy, which are of particular importance to Europe?

Huang: Our solutions can be directly applied to many of these topics: Our three-in-one machines, for example, reduce handling effort and the number of individual machines. This lowers costs for logistics, energy, and labor. The low power consumption and emissions contribute to both lower operating costs and better compliance with emission/carbon targets.

What investment or development priorities is YE I Machinery focusing on to remain successful in international competition in the long term?

Huang: There are several, but the most important ones at the moment include:

  • Research and development as well as talent promotion
  • Product innovation/adaptation and ecological trends
  • Quality control and certification
  • In-house production of key components
  • Global market expansion/broad export presence
