Cool air in the interior is a comfort feature. In electric cars, however, the air conditioning also regulates the temperature for the high-voltage battery. And this determines the performance and service life of the battery.
Many drivers only notice that something is wrong with their air conditioning system on the first few hot days. Namely, when instead of refreshing coolness, only a lukewarm breeze flows out of the air vents. Some may shrug their shoulders and simply turn up the fan. Or the first heat wave will soon be over and the desire for cooling performance will be extinguished.
