E-Mobility China is reportedly funding solid-state batteries with billions
Media reports suggest that the Chinese government is promoting the development of solid-state batteries. The aim is not to lose technological leadership in electric mobility.
China reportedly plans to accelerate the development of solid-state batteries with state funding. The government in Beijing is willing to provide more than six billion Yuan, which is equivalent to more than 760 million Euros, for the research and development of this new generation of car batteries. This is reported by the news agency Reuters, citing "a person with direct knowledge of the matter".
