The plastics center SKZ is expanding the sales department in the business area of product testing and certification to better meet the growing market requirements.

The existing SKZ sales team around Alexander Ebenbeck and Sandra Leuckert in the business area of product testing and certification is now being strengthened by two experienced employees. These are Dr. Jürgen Wüst, a doctoral physicist and authorized signatory who has been active in the testing department at the SKZ since 1998, and Barbara Stärk, who has been working at the SKZ as a team assistant for five years. Both of them, as it continues, bring valuable specialist knowledge and long-standing experience that will enrich the team. Sandra Leuckert had only switched to sales in mid-March. Wüst will in future act as the head of the new Business & Sales Development department, in which sales is integrated.

The core business is business development

With this addition, sales will in the future operate under the name of Business & Sales Development. In addition to the sales tasks, which will continue to be managed by Leukert and Sales Manager Ebenbeck, the new focus is on business development issues. This expansion enables more specific responses to customer needs and the development of corresponding innovations. The combination of Business & Sales Development with the existing sales team gives the future team expanded know-how in sales as well as product and subject-specific knowledge, which affects the aspects of testing, inspection, and product certification.
