Siemens and Snowflake collaborate to advance data management, AI, and generative AI capabilities. Shopfloor data is integrated with IT data in the Snowflake AI Data Cloud via Siemens Industrial Edge.

Siemens is collaborating with K-Data cloud company Snowflake to offer manufacturers new opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and AI-driven insights. The partnership enables joint customers worldwide to link their operational technology (OT) data from the shop floor with information from information technology (IT), such as supply chain management or financial data.

By connecting Siemens Industrial Edge with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, manufacturers gain access to plug-and-play Industrial Edge applications that allow OT data to be contextualized and transferred into IT systems. This integration enables customers to build a robust data foundation—essential for deeper insights, improved machine performance, higher availability, and the optimization of production processes in their facilities.

From Edge to Cloud with Siemens and Snowflake
