But until now, many smaller players have been unable to overcome the hurdles due to the high costs and complex systems involved. This is precisely where the two partners are now making their move with their new cooperation.

The aim is to offer a practical, economically attractive option that has been specially developed for these industries. The "Material Flow Kit" jointly developed by Trumpf and Safelog is therefore designed to automate the internal material flow simply, cost-effectively and without complicated IT systems, as the partners explain. Efficient Automation for Cost-Conscious SMEs

The "Material Flow Kit" is a package that combines Safelog's robust, application-specific mobile transport robots with an intuitive web app. The mobile robots naturally transport materials between production stations. However, they are easy to operate via tablet or smartphone. Transport orders can be created with just a few clicks, as promised. The deliberately simplified technology only includes the necessary components for reliable material transportation. This concept reduces investment costs as well as maintenance and service costs.
