The aim of the cooperation between automation specialist Rockwell Automation and Circulor, an expert in supply chain transparency, is to make the origin of raw materials traceable from the source to the end product. The collaboration also offers business benefits that go beyond compliance, the partners say. That's because Circulor's traceability platform and Rockwell's existing automation systems provided insights that could reduce costs, improve efficiency and ultimately create a competitive advantage in the evolving sustainability landscape. Rockwell Automation plans to deploy it through Kalypso, a division of Rockwell Automation. It will be deployed globally in the automotive, tire, battery, metals, mining and cement industries.
