Motion Control Update

2024-08-26

What about easy access to testing the axis or is there any support for more complex projects where a couple of drives are installed and you even want to build a few of them?

Well there is. The new FAULHABER Motion Manager was developed with your daily struggle in mind. We don’t expect you to be an expert for a FAULHABER drive but we simply guide you around all corners of a set-up. The webinar will use our latest MC 3063 S and hook it up to an apparatus using the new Motion Manager 7. We will assume having a brushless servo, a ball screw and what to use a lower limit switch for referencing the axis.

The webcast will use our latest MC 3063 S and hook it up to an apparatus using the new Motion Manager 7. We will assume having a brushless servo, a ball screw and what to use a lower limit switch for these topics:

  • Short overview over the MC 3603 S and its options
  • Starting Motion Manager 7 an overview
  • Step by step system integration
  • Operating the drive

Your expert in the webcast:
Dr.-Ing. Andreas Wagener obtained an engineering degree with specialization in electric drives from Erlangen University and earned his PhD (Dr.-Ing.) from Ulm University, working on hybrid drive-trains. After a few years at dSPACE, being responsible for automotive system integration HIL test-systems, he joined the FAULHABER’s R&D team in 2007. Dr. Wagener is your expert for MotionControl applications. In his position as group leader of the MotionControl application support firmware architecture, he was responsible for the development of the FAULHABER MC V3.0 generation.
