This partnership between Archer and Korean Air aims to accelerate the introduction of differentiated aircraft features in the near future while simultaneously laying the foundation for the broad adoption of Archer aircraft in Korea across various end markets and applications.

Into the Air Instead of on the Road

Archer has made significant progress with its eVTOL Midnight during a series of flight tests to assess performance. Recently, the company showcased its Midnight to an estimated 50,000 spectators at the California International Airshow. Prior to that, the eVTOL completed a series of performance test flights, including its longest and highest manned flights, covering nearly 56 miles in 31 minutes and reaching an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet.

Archer's Midnight is a manned eVTOL designed for four passengers and capable of quick round trips with minimal charging time between flights. Midnight has the potential to replace 60- to 90-minute car journeys with 10- to 20-minute flights using electric air taxis that are safe, sustainable, quiet, and cost-effective compared to ground transportation.
