Until now, Swytch specialized in conversion kits. Now, the company from England is taking a new path and launching its first own bicycle. It relies on the proven technology known from the conversion kits.

The retrofit specialists at Swytch are planning some innovations for 2025. The company is launching its first complete bike, the GO E-Bike, and has also further developed the MAX drive—now known as MAX+.

The GO E-Bike is characterized by a lightweight of only 35,3 lbs making it lighter than many other entry-level e-bikes. It features an aluminum frame, disc brakes, and seven gears. The drive, the Swytch GO, can be quickly attached or removed, allowing the bike to also be used as a conventional bicycle. The market launch is planned for summer 2025.

The new MAX+ is scheduled to be released in spring 2025. It offers a significantly higher range of up to 59.65 miles and features a battery with integrated lights. Additionally, the battery can now be charged via USB-C. A new rear motor with integrated pedal sensors reduces the number of components to two. Pre-orders for the system are expected to be possible by the end of 2024.

The company was founded in 2017 and has since steadily evolved. With the new products and technologies, Swytch is focusing on an even broader target audience, both in retrofitting and complete e-bikes. (mr)
